MAGNA ENERGY SERVICES WAS CREATED THROUGH THE MERGER OF SIX GILLETTE-BASED OIL AND GAS SERVICES COMPANIES.
Five businesses were owned by the Means family, who have been supporting exploration and production companies since the 1970s. The sixth company, Big 85, owned by Tom Osborne, is the largest provider of CBM workover rigs in the Powder River Basin.
The merger created an integrated, oil and gas services company. Under the leadership of Craig Means, service and safety are Magna’s core focus. Magna creates efficiencies for its customers by providing a wide variety of well head and construction services from one company. At the time of the merger, Magna added Cornerstone Energy Ventures as a partner, to provide capital for the expansion of services. All Magna managers are owners of the company, and dedicated to providing excellent service.
