Land Reclamation

As lifetime residents of the state of Wyoming, Magna managers understand the abundance of natural resources produced in the state, as well as the necessity to maintain the pristine landscape. Therefore, in 2000 Craig Means launched a reclamation business with the mission of restoring, reclaiming and rehabilitating land adversely impacted by production. Magna is an industry leader adapting to the ever-changing BLM policies by using innovative methods and equipment. For example, our high-tech planting equipment ensures proper depth when seeding for the most effective results. Magna works closely with our customers and the landowners and as a result, our complete reclamation process often produces an environment far surpassing that which they originally entered. Consequently, we have become the premier reclamation company in the Powder River Basin.

Irrigation

Magna offers management of pivot irrigation systems and follows up with a full bailing service. We also specialize in reservoir construction for your water storage needs.

Erosion Control

Magna provides a full erosion control service to preserve all the land surrounding energy production operations including installation of silt logs, silt fences, drainage work, culverts, water bars, water turn-outs and matting. Our hydromulture has been praised by the BLM as it prevents water erosion on slopes. Careful time and consideration is taken on each job when accessing customer areas, and all Magna employees are trained to provide the most suitable best management practices each job requires.
